Conditions of participation

Period:
The competition runs from 26.05.2025 to 30.05.2025 during the LIGNA trade fair.

Eligibility to participate:
All natural persons aged 18 and over. Employees of the organizer and their relatives are excluded from participation.

Prize:
You can win a pair of Apple AirPods Pro 2nd generation USB-C white.

Entry modalities:
To take part in the competition, participants must fulfill the following requirements:
Answer the estimation question: “How many saw teeth are there in a glass?”
Complete and submit the entry form.

Selection of the winner:
The winner will be selected from all correct entries in a random draw in calendar week 23 (week 23). If the participant forgoes the prize, the next participant in the draw will receive the prize. The participant drawn will be notified by e-mail immediately after the draw and asked to confirm acceptance of the prize in the e-mail. If the participant does not confirm acceptance of the prize within 7 days of receipt of the notification, the next participant following him/her will be the winner.

The prize will only be handed over to the winner. An exchange or
cash payment of the prize is not possible. Prizes in kind will be sent to the winner by post to their
home address; the organizer will bear the shipping costs. The winner is responsible for any
taxation of the prize.
It is not possible to pay out a prize in cash or exchange the prize, and the prize cannot be transferred to third parties.

Important notes:
All required information (guess question, full name, email address, any other required data) must be provided in order to be eligible to participate.
If several participants guess the same (correct) number, the winner will be determined by a draw. Anyone who voluntarily follows the organizer’s Instagram profile will have double the chance of winning in that draw.

Termination of the competition:
The organizer expressly reserves the right to interrupt or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons and to amend these conditions of participation.

Liability and legal recourse:
The organizer is not liable for damages caused by errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, malfunctions of the technical equipment and service, incorrect content, loss or deletion of data, viruses or in any other way during participation in the competition, unless such damages were caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the organizer (its bodies, employees or vicarious agents). The above
limitation of liability does not apply in the event of injury to life, limb or health or in the event of fraudulently concealed defects.

The competition is subject exclusively to the law of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded.

Data protection:
Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. The participant assures that the personal details provided by him/her, in particular first name, surname and address, are true and correct.

The personal data collected as part of the competition will be used to carry out the competition. By participating, participants agree that their personal data may also be used for marketing purposes by the organizer. Further information on data protection can be found in our privacy policy on our website.

Participants can obtain information about their data stored by the organizer at any time, object to the use of their data and request its deletion. A simple letter to Hartmetall- und Werkzeugsysteme Wilke GmbH & Co. KG, Wiesenweg 13, 53474 Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler or an e-mail to datenschutz@hartmetall-wilke.de. Once consent has been withdrawn, the participant's personal data collected and stored will be deleted immediately.

Disclaimer:
Legal recourse is excluded. Cash payment of the prize is not possible.
